Here we are on week # 3 of the ONE ROOM CHALLENGE, sponsored by BETTER HOMES & GARDENS magazine. There are a lot of guest participants with amazing projects on their hands who are transforming some great spaces. In the meantime, as I browse through the graphics on the #oneroomchallenge web page, I wonder… do I still want to learn to use power tools?

Over here in SoCal, we are experiencing higher than normal temps and the Ocean still looks amazing and is often calling my name. Personally, I am incredibly grateful to live here so close to the Ocean and for the many blessings in my life. Having said that, I am finding it harder to read the overall “temp”, mood, moral of people in general.

This is the transformation of an amazing condo right across from the beautiful Pacific Ocean. How we took it from 1960’s original and 1980’s dated to a fabulous retreat for the family to come and enjoy social breezes and sunshine.

Hope you are having fun with spring, spring colors and accessorizing. I don’t know about you, but these tasks keep me sane and inspired. Although in the last year my humble abode has been neglected, right now you would not think that I am an interior designer if you saw my condo.

Well, since St Patrick’s is approaching and there are so many colors we could write about – I thought this would be a good time to write about how to decorate with green and how I have used it and/or suggested its use.
